This is a rare NASA Project Mercury Capsule Flight Operations Manual for Capsule 13 (Atlas) MA-6, dated 1961, which is identical to the one issued to John Glenn for training to fly his historic orbital flight. It measures 7 1/2" x 6 1/4". This manual is an essential piece of space history and is in very good condition with visible signs of wear from use and aging. It contains many fold out charts with detailed information covering all the procedures and processes followed during normal and emergency situations. This manual comes from the personal collection of Robert "Bob" Heine.
